Silver foil stamp on front, differentiating them from their regular-issue counterparts. According to Topps media literature, half of the cards printed were sent to the actual NBA players featured in the set and the rest were seeded into packs. Quite a hullabaloo was made over the discovery that Topps had never released the first 18 cards in this set (the Masters subset) due to an unannounced production flaw at the printing plant. Topps made good on these 18 cards the following year by producing them and inserting them into series two hobby packs of 1996-97 Stadium Club.
